WGA Writing Credit
At the end of Season 6 of The Disney Channel series, “Raven’s Home”, I was given a “Story By” credit, where I pitched B and C story lines to our executive producers. After pitching and collaborating, my original B story pitch ended up becoming the B Story line for the episode. I also pitched and helped create the A story plot points during main break of this episode. In addition, I wrote several of the episode’s scenes. During shooting, I was on set everyday bouncing ideas off of show runners and pitching alt lines when dialogue didn’t feel as if it was working.
Creative Copywriting
From 2019-2023, while working on Raven’s Home and Riverdale, I was tasked with writing copy for props that would appear in insert shots during episodes. For instance, if there was a close up on a newspaper, I would write the original content that was printed on that newspaper. Throughout my time working on these shows, I made manuscripts, newspaper articles, magazines all printed and used during shooting.
Metadata - Disney Marketing
While Writer Assistant on “Raven’s Home”, I wrote the log lines featured on Disney + to describe each episode of the show. They are also what appears when you do the basic google search for the episodes. I also successfully pitched the title for Episode 612 “Working for the Weeknd”.
